Description
This Dot 5 brake fluid is a premium Dot 5 silicone brake fluid. This fluid is what we recommend using in our calipers as recommended by the manufacturer. A typical Jr. Dragster master cylinder requires approximately 2 ounces and our Dot 5 brake fluid comes in 8 ounce bottles. This is definitely something that you want to keep in your spare parts cabinet.
When bleeding your brakes, we recommend to bleed in the conventional method. After your bleed, the fluid level should be 1/8″ below the hole. If you are experiencing an issue with poor breaking it could be that there is not enough room in the master cylinder for the break fluid to flow back in.
